Welcome to Luna's Playhouse. We are a Waldorf inspired home-based childcare with a healthy, holistic approach to encourage engagement in the child's thinking. We believe that the experiences of early childhood help lay the foundation for the child's future learning and interests in the world. Young children are taking their first steps in socializing with peers, learning how to shape, and developing trust and respect for their caregivers. Our program is designed to encourage and support their healthy development.

My home childcare is inspired with a mix of all of the best early childhood practices I have discovered.

The program is structured to provide age appropriate activities for all children. The curriculum is designed so that children can learn from each other and can develop at his or her own pace in a non-competitive setting. 

The day typically consists of creative play, an artistic activity, story time, singing, games, snack making, and outside play.
